Department of Multimodality Cardiac Imaging @ Policlinico San Donato
The Operative Unit Multimodality Cardiac Imaging is devoted to the use of cardiac imaging in the clinical and research field.
The two main branches of the Unit are cardiac Magnetic Resonance and Cardiac Computed Tomography.
A continuous informal and enthusiastic interaction among the Operators take place allowing the continuous mixing of different backgrounds (4 adult Cardiologists, 2 pediatric Cardiologists, 4 Radiologists, 2 Engineers, dedicated Technicians and Nurses, Students) to overcome the clinical neediness covering the whole spectrum of cardiac pathologies.
Beside the clinical activity, research projects that extends from bench to bedside targets are developed and leading to an average of 10 peer reviewed papers per year driven on site and or in cooperation with other national and international Centers.
