Radiology Units of Gruppo San Donato provide imaging diagnosis of diseases, through different forms of radiation, including X-rays (radiographs, computed tomography - CT), ultrasound, radiofrequencies (Magnetic Resonance, MRI).
Furthermore, radiology specialists deal with minimally invasive treatments and interventions, which constitute the therapeutic part, called interventional radiology.
Led by internationally recognized professionals, Prof. Francesco De Cobelli and Prof. Francesco Sardanelli, Radiology Units became two of the most avant-garde realities on Italian and European territory. Providing fundamental support for different specialties, radiologists of the Units are recognized specialists with broad experience in emergency radiology, cardiovascular radiology, oncologic imaging and interventional radiology.
In fact, to guarantee each patient a personalized therapeutic approach, each case is discussed within a multidisciplinary team, which always includes a radiologist.
