He trained twice abroad, both times in Paris, at the Fondation Ophtalmologique Adolphe de Rothschild and the Institut Gustave Roussy in Villejuif.
From 2002 to 2015, he was the Visiting Professor at the School of Specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the University of Milan and the University of Rome La Sapienza. Currently, his clinical and research activities are focused on the application of modern technologies in orthognathic surgery and the treatment of severe cases of maxillary atrophy with bone reconstruction and immediate loading zygomatic implants.
There are more than 5,000 personally performed surgical interventions in his surgical practice, including minor and major reconstructive surgery for trauma (94 cases of craniofacial injuries), pre-prosthetic surgery (900 cases of maxillary sinus elevation and 75 cases of LF I osteotomy with autologous bone insert) and orthognathic surgery (more than 1,000 cases of mono- and bimaxillary osteotomy for dysmorphic disorders or OSAS).
