Carlo Besozzi
Biography
Dr. Carlo Besozzi cooperates with the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery of the IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi, where he pays special attention to the treatment of temporomandibular pathology.
In 1986, he received the degree of Doctor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Milan, where in 1994 he received the degree of Doctor of Maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Besozzi continues his professional development by attending a master class in orthodontics at the University of Milan from 1995 to 1996.
Since 1987, he has been a visiting physician at the Italian Dental Institute, having gained professional experience in the departments:
- endodontics
- surgery
- periodontology
- orthodontics
- gnathology
- kinesiography
- and in medical institutions of maxillofacial surgery
In 1988, he became a member of the Italian Society of Orthodontists, taking part in basic courses and organized conferences. Since June 2003, he has been collaborating with the Department and the Operating Department of Maxillofacial Surgery under the supervision of Professor Aldo Bruno Giannini at the Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi at padiglione Monteggia del Policlinico di Milano.
Dr. Besozzi improves his technique of arthroscopic treatment of the temporomandibular joint at specialized seminars in Miami and Boston.
A speaker at national congresses and courses, he is also an associate professor at the School of Maxillofacial Surgery in Milan.
Dr. Besozzi is the author of several national and international articles in the field of orthodontics and surgery related to dentistry and the maxillofacial area.
