Strengthening HRH (Human Resources for Health) in Duhok Province

Strengthening the capacities of Duhok Directorate General of Health in achieving higher clinical performance of health staff through training and the use of simulation.

Recognizing the centrality of the health workforce role in supporting the Health System in translating its vision into improved health care on the ground, the proposed action targets to strengthening of the health system performance through capacity development and training of health professionals, with a specific focus on the learning environment. The project's donor is GIZ/Gmbh (Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit).

The remodeling works of the Clinical Skills Training Center (CSTC) have been finalized in all details and the center was inaugurated on the 10/12/20. All the technologies (cameras, computers, projectors etc.) have been installed. The training material for the E-Learning Platform, allowing the activation of the Training of Trainers for the team of the center, has been finalized and the website created. The team of local trainers has been composed in coordination with DGoH (General Directorate of Health in Duhok).
