Centering MRI

What is it?

Centering MRI is an examination that can be combined with centering CT, with the aim of obtaining additional anatomical information about the district to be irradiated, for a better identification of the treatment target and/or organs at risk.

When is this exam indicated?

This examination is particularly indicated for treatment planning of brain, head and neck, abdominal, pelvic and spinal disorders.

Contraindications

Patients with pacemakers or prostheses should be evaluated for compatibility with MR.
