Valeria Colonna

Dr. Valeria Colonna is a dermatologist at the Istituto Dermoclinico Vita Cutis at the Palazzo della Salute – Wellness Clinic.

In 2008, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Bari, where she specialized in dermatology and venereology with honors in 2014.

During her studies, she had the opportunity to work in pediatric dermatology through an internship at the Hôpital Pellegrin in Bordeaux.

Subsequently, she participated and won the competition of doctors and experts of the Medical Corps S.P.E of the Aeronautical Section, received important positions as Head of the Department of Dermatology and Venereology of the Institute of Aerospace Medicine in Milan and Head of the V Section of Aerospace Medicine. In addition to these titles, she was also appointed Head of the infirmary at the headquarters of the Air Force School of the III aviation district.

She continued her studies and became a medical examiner of certificates of psychophysical fitness for handling firearms, possession of weapons and a driver's license. At the end of her career, the qualification of an aviation medical expert of ENAC, the National Civil Aviation Authority, was added.

During her career she has gained extensive experience in performing major plastic dermatological procedures such as picotage, microtherapy, dermatological peels, fillers and therapeutic procedures such as nevus mapping, trichological and mycological examination and laser.
