Simone Schiaffino
Biography
Dr. Simone Schiaffino is a radiologist at the Diagnostic Imaging Service of the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato in Milan.
In 2011, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Genoa, and in 2018 he received a specialization in X-ray diagnostics at the same university.
He is a consultant radiologist at Policlinico San Donato on ultrasound, senology, traditional radiology, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, as well as interventional procedures under the control of CT and ultrasound.
Dr. Schiaffino also deals with thoracoabdominal imaging, oncological and non-oncological imaging, covering all methods. He also performs ultrasound-controlled biopsy, diagnostic and interventional breast treatment, and emergency radiological activities, including neuroradiological.
He is the author of publications in peer-reviewed journals, including well-known ones, with a special interest in the senological field. He is a reviewer of 10 journals and was awarded as the best reviewer of the year in the European Radiology Experimental journal.
