Biography

Dr. Sauro Caneschi is an orthopec surgeon at the Robotic Prosthetic Surgery Department of Ospedale San Raffaele, directed by Professor Patrizio Caldora.

After graduating in Medicine and Surgery in 1993, he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 1998, following with specialization in Hand Surgery in 2001.

He carried out replacement of general practitioner and emergency medical service in the summer of 1993 within the USL Aretina Nord. Since June 1999 he has served in the Orthopedic and Traumatology Department of the Arezzo hospital as first level Medical Director.

Until 2021, he was able to develop a personal surgical case history, dedicating himself to addressing traumatological issues, prosthetic interventions on various joints, hand surgery, and issues related to vertebral pathology and surgery. Additionally, Dr. Caneschi consistently participated in outpatient, emergency, and ward care activities that characterize the programming of the department.

Since 2021 he has been carrying out surgical activity at the nursing home affiliated with the San Giuseppe Hospital in Arezzo, in collaboration with an association of professionals called Caldora Group.

To date, his clinical activity focuses on hip, knee and shoulder prosthetic surgery, hand surgery, spinal pathologies (also with minimally invasive approach). Dr. Caneschi also specializes in ozone therapy and all its fields of application, as well as hydrocolontherapy.
