Renato Finazzi

Biography

Renato Finazzi, a specialist in internal medicine, infectious disease and hepatologist, is the Site Coordinator for rehabilitation work in medical hepatology of the Comprehensive Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan, under the direction of the Professor Luca Aldrighetti.

In 1984, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan, in 1989, he specialized in internal medicine, and in 1996, he specialized in infectious diseases at the same educational institution.

Dr. Renato Finazzi deals with the diagnosis and treatment of neoplastic diseases of the hepatobiliary system, the treatment of portal hypertension and end-stage liver failure, and the monitoring and treatment of critically ill surgical patients. He leads an active outpatient activity in the diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases, including viral and autoimmune hepatitis, cirrhosis and primary liver neoplasia.

He is the author and co-author of hundreds of publications in industry scientific journals and chapters in books. His Hirsch index is 11. He constantly participates in national and international industry congresses.
