Maurizio Rubino

Biography

Dr. Maurizio Rubino has been the reference surgeon of the upper limbs in the Department of Operative Joint Replacement and Orthopedic Surgery (C.A.S.C.O.) of the IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio since 2010, specializing in prosthetic and tendon reconstruction surgery of the shoulder joint and elbow, hand surgery and wrists. 

In 1981 he graduated from the Medical Faculty of the University of Genoa.

In 1986, he received a Bachelor's Degree in Orthopedics and Traumatology from the University of Milan and three years later a Master's degree in Hand Surgery from the University of Pavia.

After receiving two specializations, from 1988 to 2007 he became the Medical Director of the Ospedale San Martino in Genoa. 

Subsequently, from 2007 to 2010, he was a freelancer in the orthopedic surgery department at Clinica Salus in Alessandria. 

During his career, he became the author of numerous scientific publications in Italian and foreign journals; five of them in indexed journals, two of which are devoted to original surgical methods for the treatment of rhizarthrosis and arthrosis of the trapezius bone.
