Marco Attanasio
Biography
Marco Attanasio is an orthopedic surgeon at the Highly Specialized Center for Orthopedic Surgery of Hip and Knee Joints Istituto Clinico San Siro.
In 2012 he received a degree in medicine and Surgery from the University of Brescia, while in 2019 he received a specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology from the University of Milan with maximum marks.
In 2014, he received a Master's degree in Acupuncture and related techniques from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of Brescia.
From 2009 to 2017, he visited the Laboratory of Tissue Engineering of the University of Brescia to follow and participate in research in the field of regenerative medicine.
He has worked in major Milanese hospitals while training specialists such as the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato, ASST Gaetano Pini CTO, the IRCCS Galeazzi Orthopaedic Institute Institute and abroad at the Hôpital des Escartons in Briancon.
Dr. Attanasio is engaged in:
- minimally invasive hip joint surgery with anterior and posterolateral access,
- minimally invasive knee joint surgery,
- arthroscopic surgery of the knee joint.
Constantly gaining new knowledge in the use of new technologies in regenerative medicine of joints.
He is the author of scientific articles and texts for medical and orthopedic training in various national and international projects.
