Biography

Dr. Irina Mori is an orthopedist at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Operating Unit (Section III) of the Brescia City Clinical Institute. 

She received her medical degree at the University of Novosibirsk (Russia) in 1998. In 2000, she completed her residency in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the Research Institute of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (NIITO) in Novosibirsk.

In 2004, she obtained the Degree in Medicine and Surgery - 2nd Faculty of Medicine of the University of Rome "La Sapienza" with subsequent Registration with the Ministry of Health and Register of Surgeons.

In 2013, she also completed her residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Brescia.

She also held several refresher courses and participated in congresses on orthopedic traumatology with in-depth study in vertebrology in Russia, Italy, Denmark, and Germany.

At the Orthopedic Operating Unit III of the Brescia City Clinical Institute, Dr. Mori practices lumbosacral spine surgery, both for dysmorphic conditions and for degenerative and posttraumatic conditions.

She performs hip and knee prosthetic surgery, including revision surgery for septic pathology or mechanical failure. 

She is an expert in corrective foot surgery for:

  • hallux valgus;
  • metatarsalgia;
  • Morton's disease;
  • flat foot.

Focuses on upper limb surgery: shoulder, elbow, hand (carpal tunnel, Dupuytren's contracture, and trigger finger).
