Giuliana Vitolo

Dr. Giuliana Vitolo is a dietitian at the Unit of Bariatric Surgery of Policlinico San Pietro and also collaborates with Smart Clinic.

She graduated in Dietetics from Federico II University of Naples in 2004.

Since 2007, she has focused on bariatric patients (those with pathological obesity), and in 2015, she became a dietitian for the INCO Center (National Institute for Obesity Treatment), initially at satellite locations and later at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.

Her main activities include nutritional counseling, assessing patients' nutritional status, and providing nutritional education to individuals with obesity or other metabolic dysfunctions.

She has authored numerous international scientific publications and co-authored chapters in Italian nutrition books and manuals.
