Giovanni Simonini

Dr. Giovanni Simonini is the Head of the Operating Unit of Orthopedics and Traumatology (Section VI) at the Brescia City Clinical Institute. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Brescia, where he later specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology.

In his clinical practice, he devotes himself to Orthopedics and Traumatology, with emphasis on Hip, Knee and Shoulder Surgery, Hand and Foot Surgery, Arthroscopic Surgery and Pediatric Traumatology. Throughout his career, he has been interested in the treatment of osteogenesis imperfecta, scoliosis, hip dysplasia, malformative and metabolic diseases, flatfoot, clubfoot, and metatarsal varus.

He is a participant in numerous national and international congresses in Prosthetic, Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Microsurgery. He attends activities promoted by the Italian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (SIOT) and the Sodalizio Lombardo Ortopedici e Traumatologi Ospedalieri (SLOTO). His scientific contributions are published in Minerva Orthopaedica e Traumatologica and The Journal of Hand Surgery.
