Gianpiero Cardone

Dr. Gianpiero Cardone heads the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan. He also collaborates with Casa di Cura La Madonnina.

In 1989 he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of L'Aquila, where in 1993 he received a specialization in radio diagnostics.

In radiology, he pays special attention to urological pathology. Is the author of the book, 26 chapters in books, 6 of the translated chapters and 41 scientific articles published in major international radiological and urological journals such as Radiology, American Journal of roentgenology is, European Radiology, Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography, Abdominal Imaging, Urology, Journal of Urology, European Oncology, European Urology Oncology. Co-author of 425 reports at courses and conferences.

Member of the Italian Society of Medical Radiology (SIRM), where since 2017 he has held the position of President of the Urogenital Radiology Section, the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), the European Society of Radiology (ESR) and the European Society for Urological Research (ESUR).
