Gaspare Sergio Cannone
Biography
Doctor Gaspare Sergio Cannone is an interventional cardiologist of the Clinical and Interventional Cardiology Unit and Coronary Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Palermo in 2010 (110/110 cum laude). In 2016, he obtained the specialization in Diseases of the Cardiovascular System at the University of Milan (70/70 cum laude). He attended Level I Master in Valvular Echocardiography, and has qualification in Advanced Life Support (ALS).
He has more than 3,000 coronary interventions, peripheral district pathologies, structural cardiac pathologies on the aortic valve (TAVI) and closure of the foramen ovale.
Dr. Cannone also tutors physicians specializing in cardiology and international trainee doctors in cardiology.
