Emanuele Caldarella

Biography

Dr. Emanuele Caldarella is an orthopedist, Head of the Department of Minimally Invasive Orthopedic Surgery at the Istituto di Cura in Pavia.

Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan.

In 2008, he received a specialization in orthopedics and traumatology at the same university.

In the last years of specialization, he delved into the issues of hip and knee joint prosthetics, working in a large hyper-specialized center of excellence.

Over the years, he has improved his skills through clinical experience and attending numerous courses in Italy and abroad.

Dr. Caldarella mainly deals with hip and knee joint prosthetics in order to achieve less and less invasive results for the patient.

The minimally invasive approach is not limited to small surgical incisions, but reduces by 360° all the discomfort associated with the perioperative experience, the use of minimally invasive prostheses, and the adoption of rapid rehabilitation protocols.

He also specializes in:

  • prostheses for small patients;
  • simultaneous bilateral prosthetic interventions;
  • complex revision surgery.
