Delia Livella

Dr. Delia Livella is an orthopedic trauma surgeon at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Operating Unit of the Brescia City Clinical Institute.

She received her medical degree at the University of Brescia in 1987. 

In 1992, she obtained her specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Brescia.

After her studies, she participated in numerous courses and conferences related to the subject. She is involved in the development and implementation of the Rapid Recovery pathway by attending the Rapid Recovery Master Class (Rome, Copenhagen).

At the Brescia City Clinical Institute, Dr. Livella performs outpatient, surgical and emergency room activities.

She is also coordinator of the Rapid Recovery pathway for the Orthopedic Operating Unit X where she manages:

• data collection,
• implementation of the program,
• updating activities.

She performs of prosthetic surgery (hip and knee), trauma surgery (upper and lower limb), outpatient surgery, both contracted and private outpatient activities.

In the field of research, she is involved in the study of degenerative joint pathology of hip and knee.
