Dario Gavino
Biography
Dr. Dario Gavino has been an orthopedic surgeon of the II Department of Operative Spine Surgery at the IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi since 2016.
In 1990, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Genoa, where in 1995 he received a specialization in orthopedics and traumatology.
From 1995 to 1997, he worked as an outpatient specialist at Asl Genoa and as a volunteer at Clinica Ortopedica in Genoa.
Participated in research and treatment of spinal pathologies.
From 1997 to 1999, he held the position of Medical Director in the integrated structure of Ortopedia Ospedale Santa Corona in Pietra Ligura (prov. Savona), becoming a medical director in the complex structure "Spine Surgery" until May 2016.
Currently, in addition to outpatient activities, his main skills include surgical treatment of vertebral pathologies, such as deformities, degenerative pathologies, traumatic and infectious pathologies.
