Ayman Ismail
Biography
Dr. Ayman Ismail is a surgeon, oncologist and bariatric surgeon of the Department of General and Oncological Surgery of the Center for Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery and the Center for Obesity Surgery Policlinico San Marco.
In 2005 he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Brescia, where in 2016 he received a specialization in general surgery.
His main areas of interest are laparoscopic-laparotomic abdominal surgery and laparoscopic-laparotomic colorectal surgery.
He has more than 450 general operations, both planned and emergency, as the first surgeon.
As a second surgeon, he performed more than 500 interventions:
- basic general surgery
- gastrointestinal surgery
- hepatobiliary surgery
- vascular surgery
- thoracic surgery
He participated in the installation of more than 50 thoracic or hemothoracic drains.
He has participated in many national and international conferences. He is the author and co-author of scientific articles published in national and international indexed journals.
