Alfredo Balestreri

Dr. Alfredo Balestreri is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi Clinical Research Institute.

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Parma in 2001, where he specialized in maxillofacial surgery in 2006.

Two years later, he received his Master’s degree in Advanced Implantology from the University of Pisa and a National Diploma in Ultrasound Diagnostics from SIUMB (Italian Society of Ultrasound Medicine and Biology) in Rome (2012).

From 2006 to 2008 he worked as a physician at the Pisa Hospital; then he was the Chief Physician at the Parma Hospital from 2008 to 2011 and at the Casa di Cura Figlie di San Camillo Clinic in Cremona from 2012 to 2014.

Currently he also works in the field of traumatology, zygomatic implantation, oncology and aesthetic surgery.
