Biography

Dr. Alberto Aliprandi is the Head of the Radiology Service at Istituti Clinici Zucchi and collaborates with Casa di Cura La Madonnina. He is also a radiologist-referent in various professional sports clubs.

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan (1996), and in 2002 he specialized in X-ray diagnostics at the University of Pavia.

Its activities cover several areas of diagnostic imaging, with special emphasis on musculoskeletal (diagnostic and interventional), rheumatological and oncological pathology.

Dr. Alberto Aliprandi is an adjunct Professor in the Special Course of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan and an Adjunct Professor of Diagnostic Imaging and Special Radiation Dentistry 1, Sector Med/36 for a degree in Stomatology and Dental Prosthetics (class Lm-46) at the same university. He also worked as a mentor in the training of clinical residents of the University of Milan Bicocca.

Always actively working in the field of radiology, he participated in the management of the launch of the radiology and magnetic resonance service in various structures. Winner of the first prize for the best scientific work at the International Congress on Shoulder Joint Surgery (Fukuda Award, 2011), at the ECR European Radiological Congress, co-author, in Rising Start 2016, reserved for student projects of the Faculty of Medicine of European Universities and the National Congress of Musculoskeletal Radiology (Genoa, 2015). He is the President of the Musculoskeletal Radiology Section of the Italian Society of Medical Radiology (SIRM).

Dr. Alberto Aliprandi is the author of 58 publications for national and international scientific journals such as Knee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy, World Journal Radiology and Medical Radiology; and is a member of the European Society of Radiology. In particular, he has 1,050 international references in journals with an impact factor of 15 (the Hirsch Index), of which 6 are in the name.
