What is it?

Carpenter's syndrome is a disease that belongs to the group of acrocephalopolysindactylae (ACPS).

Which are the symptoms?

It is characterized by acrocephaly, characteristic facies, brachydactyly and syndactyly in the hands, preaxial polydactyly, and toe syndactyly. Congenital heart disease, umbilical hernia, prolonged persistence of primary dentition, and hypodontia may be present. Obesity, mental retardation, and hypogonadism have been described in older patients
