Francesco Secchi
Biography
Professor Francesco Secchi is a radiologist at the Department of Visual Diagnostics of the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato in Milan.
In 2007 he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan, where in 2012 he received a specialization in X-ray diagnostics. In 2016, he also received his doctorate in Integrated Biomedical Sciences again at the University of Milan.
In 2011, he was a clinical researcher at the Department of Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the heart at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London. In 2012, he was a visiting resident physician at the Medical University of South Carolina (Charleston, South Carolina, USA) in the Radiology Department - Cardiovascular imaging.
Since July 2019, he has been an associate professor of Radiology at the University of Milan.
Professor Secchi is an expert in the field of cardiovascular radiology: His activities are focused, in particular, on computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of congenital and acquired cardiovascular pathologies.
He has published 70 papers in indexed journals with the Hirsch index-14 and is a reviewer of 10 international journals.
He is a member of the Lombardy Regional Group of the Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology (SIRM) and the Italian Association of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (AIRMM).
