Sergio Lazzaroni

Dr. Sergio Lazzaroni is a physician in the Internal Medicine Unit at Policlinico San Marco, where he also specializes in Hepatology and Operative Ultrasound.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia in 1978. He obtained his specialization in Cardiology from the University of Milan in 1981 and later, in 1984, his specialization in Sports Medicine from the same institution. In 1989, he also earned a specialization in Infectious Diseases from the University of Pavia.

Throughout his career, Dr. Lazzaroni has gained extensive experience in internal medicine wards and Hepatology outpatient services. He has further developed his skills in performing internal medicine ultrasounds and interventional ultrasound, with a particular focus on thermal ablation of liver and kidney tumors.
