Sergio Lazzaroni

Dr. Sergio Lazzaroni is a physician in the General Medicine Unit at Policlinico San Marco, where he also carries out clinical activities in Hepatology and Operative Ultrasound.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia in 1978. In 1981, he specialized in Cardiology at the University of Milan, and later, in 1984, he completed a second specialization in Sports Medicine at the same university.

In 1989, he obtained a further specialization in Infectious Diseases at the University of Pavia.

Throughout his career, Dr. Lazzaroni has gained extensive experience in inpatient internal medicine and outpatient hepatology. He has also developed advanced skills in general and interventional ultrasound, with a particular focus on thermal ablation procedures for liver and kidney tumors.
