Roberto Marina
Biography
Dr. Roberto Marina is a radiologist in the Imaging Diagnostics Service at Policlinico San Pietro.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Catania in 1978, where he also specialized in Neurology in 1982 and Radiology in 1986.
His career began in 1978 as an internal physician at the Neurological Clinic of the University of Catania. He subsequently served as a medical director in the neurology, neuroradiology, and diagnostic radiology departments of several Italian hospitals. In 1989, he received training at the Rothschild Foundation in Paris.
From 1995 to 2001, he was a teaching tutor at the School of Specialization in Neurosurgery at the University of Catania. From 2002 to 2008, he was a professor of neurosurgery at the University of Milano-Bicocca.
Dr. Marina has been a member of the Italian Society of Neurosurgery and the Italian Society of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific articles published in journals and has served as a delegate, speaker, and moderator at many national and international congresses and courses.
