Biography

Dr. Pietro Antonio Antonuzzo is the Head of the Outpatient Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant’Ambrogio. He also practices at Palazzo della Salute - Wellness Clinic.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Catania, where he also specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Throughout his career, he has held several key roles, including Head of the Physical Medicine Clinic at the Don Gnocchi Foundation and Director of various medical facilities in Milan and its metropolitan area.

Dr. Antonuzzo focuses on the rehabilitation of balance disorders, spinal manipulations, joint and infiltration therapy, analgesic mesotherapy, and postural analysis and reprogramming using both static-dynamic stabilometric and baropodometric platforms. His current interests include dermofunctional rehabilitation for patients with oncological conditions, such as those recovering from breast, prostate, and bladder cancer surgeries, angioplasty of the limbs, and those with lipedema, lymphedema, or traumatic and post-surgical scars, as well as prosthetic rehabilitation.

After serving as an adjunct professor at various Italian and international universities, he currently collaborates with the Complutense University of Madrid and Planas Clinic in Barcelona, where he teaches courses on ozone therapy, TECAR therapy, and radial shockwave therapy.

Dr. Pietro Antonio Antonuzzo is a speaker and organizer of numerous CME courses in rehabilitative medicine, and his contributions are published in indexed national and international journals.
