Biography

Professor Piercarlo Sarzi Puttini is currently Director of the Rheumatology Unit at IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant’Ambrogio and Full Professor of Rheumatology at the University of Milan.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Parma in 1981 and went on to specialize in Rheumatology (University of Milan, 1985), Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation (University of Milan, 1989), and Internal Medicine (University of Pavia, 1994).

His extensive clinical and research experience covers the full spectrum of rheumatic diseases, with a particular focus on fibromyalgia and chronic pain.

His scientific commitment is reflected in over 500 publications listed on PubMed and six authored books.

Professor Sarzi Puttini is also a well-regarded speaker at national and international scientific conferences.
