Orazio Minutolo
Biography
Dr. Orazio Minutolo is a radiologist at the Radiodiagnostic Service of Policlinico San Pietro.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2003 from the University of Catania and specialized in General Surgery in 2009 at the same institution. In 2015, he obtained his specialization in Radiodiagnostics from the University of Milan-Bicocca.
Throughout his specialization and career, Dr. Minutolo has gained extensive experience in conventional radiology (X-rays, cystography, emergency radiology), diagnostic ultrasound (ultrasounds, Doppler ultrasound, emergency FAST exams), computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
He has worked in several Italian hospitals' general surgery units, participating in numerous general and laparoscopic surgeries as a second and third operator.
Dr. Minutolo's training includes an international component with periods at the radiology, interventional radiology, and oncological radiology departments of Queen's Hospital in Romford, England, and the cardiothoracic surgery department at The Heart Hospital in London, England.
He is a member of the Italian Society of Medical Radiology (SIRM), the European Society of Radiology (ESR), and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). He has participated in numerous courses and conferences, often as a teacher or speaker.
