Dr. Nathalie Rizzo is Senior Medical Director at the Unit of Pathological Anatomy at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan.
After graduating in Medicine and Surgery and specializing in Pathological Anatomy at the University of Cagliari, she attended the University Course on "Sudden Death" at the University of Padova in 2001 and 2002.
She has been Visiting Scientist at the Department of Pathology Karolinska Institut, Stockholm, Policlinico Gemelli in Rome, Spedali Civili in Brescia, Le Molinette Hospital in Turin Ambulatorio di Dermatopatologia and at the Institute of Dermatopathology in Graz. In her diagnostic activity, Dr. Rizzo is particularly interested in skin diseases and eye neoplasms. She collaborates with the molecular diagnostics section of the same department in particular with regard to melanocytic neoplasms of the skin and eye io.
She is the author of numerous articles in international journals, such as Melanoma Research, Rheumathology, Journal of Surgical Oncology, Cancer Immunology Immunotherapy, Dermatology Practical and Conceptual, International Journal of Dermatology, Clinical and Experimental Dermatology.
She is a member of the Italian Society of Pathological Anatomy, the Italian Melanoma Intergroup (IMI) and the Italian Society of Medical, Surgical, Aesthetic Dermatology and Sexually Transmitted Diseases.
