Maurizio Tomirotti

Dr. Maurizio Tomirotti works as an oncologist at the Casa di Cura La Madonnina. 

In 1978, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan, and then three years later he received a specialization in oncology at the University of Pavia, and in 1987 a specialization in internal medicine at the University of Parma. 

He completed internships at INT Milan and MD Anderson CC Houston and in 1987 received the national right to primary education in oncology. 

More than forty years of experience in relationships / communication between doctor and patient, especially in the field of oncological pathology. This experience was also deepened in the context of the Balint Group between 1990 and 1996) and specialized scientific associations such as the Italian Society of Psycho-Oncology, as well as in the context of care groups, with top management responsibilities and coordination. 

He currently works on oncology at the Casa di Cura La Madonnina, focusing on the diagnosis and medical treatment of solid tumors.
