Maurizio Bruno Nava

Dr. Maurizio Bruno Nava is a specialist in general surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery and oncology, and an Associate Professor at the School of Plastic Surgery at the University of Milan and the University of Genoa. At Casa di Cura La Madonnina, Dr. Nava privately carries out his clinical activities exclusively in the field of breast surgery.

In 1977, he received a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan, and in subsequent years, various specializations, namely oncology, general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery. Numerous national and international conferences in which he participates as an organizer and speaker. There are also several publications: books and book chapters, scientific articles in indexed journals, more than 200 papers on breast cancer surgery, written in English, Italian, and Spanish.

In particular, among the monographs published by Dr. Nava, it should be remembered: Aesthetic Breast Surgery, Reconstructive Breast Surgery, Oncoplastic Breast Surgery and e-book Con il sen(no) di poi (about cosmetic surgery).

He is also the honorary president and founder of G. R. E. T. A. (Group for Reconstructive and Therapeutic Advancements). G.R.E.T.A. is an international network in the field of breast cancer surgery, which aims to bring together specialists from different disciplines involved in treatment and innovation in the field of surgical oncology and plastic surgery of the breast, to conduct educational training programs.
