Matteo Olivieri

Biography

Dr. Matteo Olivieri is an Orthopedic Surgeon at the Department of Robotic Prosthetic Surgery at IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, directed by Professor Patrizio Caldora.

In 2000, he received his medical degree from the University of Parma, specializing in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2005.

He deepened his studies with fellowships abroad: in 2003 "Pelvic Surgery" at Karolinska Insitute in Stockholm, in 2004 in "Musculoskeletal Oncology" at Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute in Bologna, in 2005 on "Computer-Assisted Prosthetic Knee Surgery" at Hairmyres Hospital in Glasgow and on "Infections in Orthopedic Surgery" at Hospital Santa Fe in Valencia in 2013.

He perfected surgical skills and techniques in the arthroscopic surgery center in Negrar (VR) and in the Department of Orthopedic and Oncologic Surgery in Florence with Prof. Capanna, specializing in the treatment of sports traumatology and in the treatment of cartilage lesions and osteoarthritis.

He focuses on the arthroscopic treatment of capsuloligamentous injuries of the shoulder, ankle, and knee and the use of robotic technology in shoulder, hip, and knee prosthetic surgery.

He is an author and co-author of several scientific publications, and constantly participates in national and international congresses in the field.
