Maria Teresa Bonfanti

Since 2014, Dr. Maria Teresa Bonfanti has been working as a freelance employee as the Head of the radiology service of the Casa di Cura La Madonnina.

In 1986 she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan, and in 1990 she received a specialization at the same university in the field of radiation diagnostics and radiation therapy.

Her activity concerns the field of ultrasound studies at all levels, demonstrates a special interest in ultrasound studies of bone and joint tissues, abdominal cavity, neck, soft tissues, mammary glands, transrectal studies of the prostate gland. Her skills also relate to dorsal pedis artery, whole body, spine, brain. Traditional radiology concerning contrasts of the gastrointestinal tract, including small enemas, swallowing, defecography and hysterosalpingography.

The work experience of Professor Maria Teresa Bonfanti includes the functions of the first-level Medical Director in the field of radiology for the IRCCS Ca 'Granda Foundation Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico in Milan, ultrasound and emergency computed tomography in the emergency department, first aid, lectures of a specialized school of surgery and gastroenterology, lectures at advanced training courses for radiology technicians and nursing courses on the use of contrast media in CT, cooperation for congresses, advanced training courses and scientific publications.
