Marco Porta
Biography
Dr. Marco Porta is the Head of the Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Unit at Istituto Clinico Villa Aprica. He also collaborates with Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Monza.
In 2015, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan, and in 2022, he specialized in Radiodiagnostics at the University of Milan - Bicocca.
Since January 2022, Dr. Porta has been working as a radiologist at Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Monza. As of March 2024, he holds the position of Head of the Radiodiagnostics Department at Istituto Clinico Villa Aprica.
Dr. Porta specializes in general thoraco-abdominal radiology, with a focus on emergency care. His key areas of interest include musculoskeletal radiology, with expertise in ultrasound-guided interventional procedures (both diagnostic and therapeutic), and cardiovascular radiology (particularly cardiac CT). He is also actively involved in training medical residents, especially in the field of musculoskeletal radiology.
He has participated in numerous national and international conferences and training courses, often as a speaker, particularly on musculoskeletal topics. He has published several peer-reviewed scientific articles and is a member of both the Italian and European Radiology Societies.
Dr. Porta also collaborates with a major electromedical company to develop special dynamic MRI sequences for joint studies.
