Luca Angelo Ferri
Biography
Dr. Luca Angelo Ferri is an interventional cardiologist in the Department of Interventional Cardiology and Hemodynamics at the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele under the supervision of Dr. Matteo Montorfano and a cardiologist at Centro Diagnostico of Treviglio.
After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Vita Salute San Raffaele University of Milan in 2004, he received a specialization in diseases of the cardiovascular system in 2008 and in 2016 received an international Master's degree of level II in interventional cardiology at the same university.
From a clinical point of view, in addition to the treatment of complex lesions of the coronary arteries, Dr. Ferri focuses on the percutaneous treatment of valvulopathies (aortic valve, mitral valve, tricuspid valve), on the percutaneous closure of the left atrium and open oval window.
From a clinical point of view, Dr. Ferri worked as a consultant in the Department of Coronary Therapy at the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan in 2009, as well as medical Director of the Cardiology Intensive Care Unit at Ospedale A. Manzoni in Lecco (2010-2013) and Interventional Cardiology until February 2019 at the same hospital.
He is the author and co-author of numerous publications in national and international scientific journals and book chapters. Constantly participates as a speaker at industry scientific congresses at the national and international levels.
