Giuseppina Maria Casiraghi

Dr. Giuseppina Maria Casiraghi is the Coordinator of the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care at Ospedale San Raffaele Turro, part of the Department of Anesthesia and General Intensive Care of the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, headed by Professor Alberto Zangrillo.

After graduating in 1986 from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan, in 1989 she specialized in anesthesia and intensive care at the same university. After that, she completed a period of study at Inselspital Bern (Medizinische Universitats-Kinderklinic und Poliklinik).

Dr. Casiraghi is responsible for the organization and coordination of the Urological operating unit and emergency management at San Raffaele Turro Hospital.

As a researcher, Dr. Casiraghi is an expert in ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) protocols in robotic Urological surgery. He is a co-author of publications in national and international scientific journals. Her Hirsch index is 6. She constantly participates in national congresses of the industry.
