Biography

Professor Giorgio Serino is an immunologist and allergist at Policlinico San Donato and Casa di Cura La Madonnina.

In 1980 he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan, where in 1983 he received a degree in allergology and clinical immunology.

Since 2005, he has been an adjunct professor at the Milan State University, where he teaches:

  • internal medicine,
  • emergency care,
  • nursing.

The main directions of clinical experience of Prof. Serino:

  • Immunorheumatology,
  • Urticaria and angioedema,
  • Biological therapy,
  • Study and therapy of systemic vasculitis and Raynaud's syndrome,
  • Pulmonary arterial hypertension,
  • Thrombophilic and microcirculatory diseases.

He is also engaged in clinical studies of pulmonary arterial hypertension, in particular, idiopathic forms associated with connective tissue diseases and congenital heart defects.
