Giorgio Paganoni

Biography

Doctor Giorgio Paganoni serves as the Head of the Refractive Surgery Service at San Raffaele Resnati in Milan. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia in 1995, followed by specialized training in Ophthalmology at the Institute of Ophthalmology of Policlinico S. Matteo in Pavia in 1999.

In 1999, he undertook practical training at the Columbia Vision Correction Department of Ophthalmology, Columbia University in New York, as well as clinical practical training at the Department of Ophthalmology at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, also in New York. Furthering his expertise, in 2002, he completed clinical training at the Cataract Surgical Service at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and the Corneal & External Disease Service, also in London.

From 2000 to 2006, he practiced as a freelance professional at the Centro Oculistico Bergamasco. Concurrently, he served as a freelance professional at the Ophthalmology Operating Unit of the "B. Palazzolo" Clinic in Bergamo since 2000.

Additionally, since 2002, he has contributed his expertise as a Consultant at the Ophthalmology Department of Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan. Since 2006, he has held the esteemed position of Head of the Refractive Surgery Department at San Raffaele Resnati in Milan.

Throughout his career, Dr. Paganoni has authored numerous scientific publications and has been a featured speaker at major national and international congresses.
