Biography

Dr. Massarotti is a therapist, immunologist and allergist at Casa di Cura La Madonnina.

In 1965, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan, and then in 1971 continued his academic career in Internal Medicine at the University of Pavia. Finally, in 1974, he received another degree specializing in allergy and clinical immunology at the University of Florence.

Professionally, he began his career as a volunteer assistant at the Istituto di Clinica Medica of the University of Milan, and then until 1979 was a second assistant physician at the Ospedale di Legnano. From 1980 to 1999, he worked as an assistant at the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Milan in Ospedale San Paolo. In the period 2000-2005, he held the position of Head of the Department of Operative Medicine at the Istituto Clinico Sant'Ambrogio di Gruppo San Donato, and then in 2008 became the scientific director of the Istituti Clinici Zucchi Allergy Center in Monza.

Currently engaged in clinical immunology, allergology and pathology of internal organs.
He conducted detailed studies related to the relationship between viruses and immune diseases. For several years, he was interested in allergies and/or food chemicals or medications, as well as food and respiratory allergies along with internal pathology.

He has also participated as a speaker and listener in about 120 national and international congresses on internal medicine, clinical immunology and allergology and has 60 scientific papers separately and co-authored.
