Federica Pieri

Dr. Federica Pieri heads the Department of the Hospital Pharmacy of the IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi, Istituto Clinico Sant’Ambrogio and Istituto Clinico San Siro.

In 2001 she graduated from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology of the University of Eastern Piedmont, and in 2004 – specialization in hospital pharmacy at the University of Turin.

Subsequently, she received 2 Master's degrees of the II level: in 2007, specialty "Evaluation of medicines and pharmacoepidemiology" (Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna) and in 2017, majoring in "Head of Pharmaceutical Departments" (UNICAM - University of Camerino).

Since 2001, he has been working as a pharmacist fellow at the Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Maggiore della Carità in Novara; since 2009. She holds the position of Chief pharmacist in the same structure, and since 2016 she has been assigned a highly specialized managerial position.

Currently, Dr. Pieri is the local head of Pharmacovigilance and supervision of equipment, as well as an active member of the Corporate Ethics Committee of the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele.
