Biography
Dr. Enrico Zanni is a surgeon at the General Surgery Unit of Casa di Cura Villa Chiara in Bologna.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Bologna in 1979 and completed his specialization in General Surgery at the same institution in 1985. As a freelancer from 1983 to 2017, he worked in the General Surgery department at Bazzano Valsamoggia Hospital (BO) as a medical surgeon. From 2013 to 2017, he was responsible for the Day Hospital at Bazzano Hospital. Dr. Zanni has been responsible for the proctology and phlebology outpatient clinics, gaining significant experience in these areas.
He performs:
- Abdominal laparoscopic surgery
- Hernia and abdominal wall surgery
- Venous Doppler ultrasounds
- Surgical treatments for varicose veins using traditional and endovascular laser techniques
- Sclerotherapy and TRAP (Transanal Resection of the Adenoma)
In proctology, he conducts:
- Anoscopy and rectoscopy
- Treatments for hemorrhoids, anal fissures, and anal fistulas
