Elisabetta Garavaglia

Biography

Dr. Elisabetta Garavaglia is a gynecologist in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele, headed by Professor Massimo Candiani.

After graduating with honors from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan in 1993, in 1997 she majored with honors in gynecology and obstetrics at the same university. During her training, the doctor took courses outside the hospital, in particular, at Charing Cross Hospital in London and Cancer Hospital in New York.

From a clinical point of view, the doctor is the shift supervisor of the obstetric and gynecological duty service of the maternity hall and ambulance. She works in an obstetric operating room and performs outpatient and obstetric activities, during pregnancy and cesarean section. In the gynecological operating room, he also performs hysterectomy, myomectomy, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and colposcopy.

As a researcher, the doctor mainly deals with endometriosis and vaginal atrophy before and after menopause.

He is the author and co-author of publications in national and international scientific journals. Constantly participates in national and international industry congresses.
