Davide Bertolini

Dr. Davide Bertolini collaborates at the Orthopaedics and Traumatology Operating Unit (Section I) at the Brescia City Clinical Institute and Knee Surgery Team Leader at Villa Chiara, Bologna.

A specialist in sports traumatology and robotic prosthetic knee surgery, he is the first European surgeon to have performed robotic surgeries in the area of isolated lateral and femoral / patellofemoral monocompartmental prostheses (Mako technique).

He graduated in 1997 with a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Padua, where he also completed his residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2003. During his career, he was a complementary Medical Officer at the Italian Air Force base of operations, as a Second Lieutenant, in Treviso.

Responsible for Robotic Surgery for the ULSS16 Hospital Medical Presidium in Padua, Dr. Davide Bertolini is also Sports Physician for the rugby club "Valsugana Rugby" and Official Orthopedic Consultant for Knee Pathology of the Padua Football Club.

He is a speaker in the Postgraduate Course for Orthopedic Specialists "Arthroscopic Knee Surgery - theoretical and practical course" and teacher at the National Association of Massage Therapists.
