Cosmo Godino

Biography

Doctor Cosmo Godino is a cardiologist at the Clinical Cardiology Unit of IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele directed by Professor Alberto Margonato.

After graduating with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the Catholic University of Sacred Heart in Rome in 2001, he obtains specialization in Cardiology in 2005 at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan. In 2008, he obtains the Level II Master's Degree in Interventional Cardiology with honors at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan; finally, in 2018, he obtains the certificate of Advanced Studies in AORTIC STRUCTURAL INTERVENTIONS at Zurich Hospital University (UniversitätsSpital of Zürigo).

Clinically, Dr. Godino is clinical manager of 10 beds in the Clinical Cardiology Unit and hemodynamics room senior operator. To his credit, the doctor has more than 3,000 coronary interventions (PCI) and more than 100 surgeries annually for structural pathologies, such as percutaneous mitral valve repair surgeries (MitraClip).

In addition, Dr. Godino tutors the III-VI year students of the degree course in Medicine and Surgery and doctors specializing in Cardiology at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan. Moreover, it carries out teaching activities with lectures as part of the course of Specialization in Cardiology.
