Biography

Dr. Andrea Malvicini is the Head of the Rehabilitation Operating Unit of the Brescia City Clinical Institute and Professor for the Graduate Course in Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Brescia.

His educational background began in 1980 with his graduation from the University of Brescia, and continued with his specialization in Physiotherapy at the University of Pavia in 1992. As early as 1985, he was an assistant for Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the Brescia City Clinical Institute, and then continued from 1991 to 1996 as an Assistant Physiatrist at the same Institute.

As author and co-author of several academic articles and scientific papers in the field of rehabilitation published in indexed journals and presented at national and international congresses, Prof. Malvicini has participated in more than 150 training events in the field of Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Rehabilitation and hospital management since 1982. He is also a Consultant Physiatrist for the ONLUS Retirement Home in Ghedi and Casa Albergo Serlini in Ospitaletto.
