Andrea Galli

Biography

Dr. Andrea Galli is an otorhinolaryngologist in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the Ospedale San Raffaele Clinical Research Institute, headed by Professor Mario Bussi.

After graduating in 2014 from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, he specialized in otorhinolaryngology at the same university in 2019. In addition, the doctor visited the Department of Head and Neck Diseases at the Institut Gustave Roussy in Villejuif in 2018, receiving the Diplôme Universitaire de Carcinologie Cervico-Faciale at Université Paris Sud in the same year.

Dr. Galli performs clinical and surgical activities, particularly in the field of head and neck cancers, attending weekly meetings of the relevant tumor board. He also deals with inflammatory and functional diseases of the upper respiratory and digestive tracts and salivary glands, sleep disorders and thyroid disorders.

Regarding research activities, Dr. Galli is mainly involved in clinical and translational research in the field of cervical-facial oncological diseases, with particular emphasis on diseases of the larynx, oral cavity and salivary glands, as well as reconstructive surgery.

He is a member of the Italian Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Cervico-Facial Surgery (SIOChCF), Italian Association of Cervico-Facial Oncology (AIOCC) and European Head and Neck Society (EHNS). He is the author of numerous scientific publications in trade journals and book chapters. He regularly participates in national and international congresses, mainly in the field of head and neck oncology.
