Andrea Bianchi
Biography
Dr. Andrea Bianchi is a foot surgeon at the Policlinico San Marco.
In 1989, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Perugia, where he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 1994. After working at the Perugia Hospital, he continued his qualifications at the University Hospital of Strasbourg, France.
From 2010 to the present day, he is the Head of the Italian direction at the Academy of Ambulatory Foot and Ankle Surgery (USA).
Dr. Bianchi has developed in Italy an innovative method for the percutaneous correction of foot pathologies. In 2016, he became the founder of the Percutaneous Bianchi System PBS, a minimally invasive method for the treatment of hallux valgus.
He founded the Associazione Dr Andrea Bianchi e Associati Association in Perugia, which aims to provide education, research and assistance to people undergoing lower limb treatment.
